The Associate Business Manager supports the Business Manager(s) in maintaining customer focus, account management, and building customer satisfaction.   Acts as the internal leader on specific contractual relationships and is responsible for managing the contractual aspects with regards to inventory, procurement, distribution, processing and responsibilities defined in various supply and distribution agreements.  The position is expected to perform independently with limited supervision.


Pay:   $52,044 - $66,000/yr based on relevant years of experience

Bonus: Incentive potential 32% of base salary based on results

Shift:  Monday-Friday; 8:00am – 5:00pm

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Achieve revenue goals for applicable business unit.
  • Maintain customer relationship and manage sales for all assigned existing Strategic accounts.
  • Support the Business Manager(s)as subject matter expert specific to product, market, and process.
  • Support Business Manager in all customer complaints and initiate follow up to assure resolution.
  • Assist with marketing literature and co-branding efforts.
  • Manage outstanding invoice issues. Process customer credit and rebill transactions.  Process RMA inventory controls. 
  • Assist Business Manager(s) in producing certificates of origin/registration.
  • Participate in the evaluation of customer proposals for potential new products and changes to existing products.
  • Assist in executing all customer change requests and new product requests. Interface with R&D, Engineering, Quality Assurance, Regulatory Affairs, and Supply Chain to bring requests to completion.
  • Work with Operations, Supply Chain, and Distribution on inventory management and tissue prioritization based of our customers’ needs. Backorder management.
  • Adhere to and promote proper practices and techniques which are consistent with current operating procedures, training requirements, safety practices and company policies.



  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Life Sciences, or related field
  • In lieu of degree, 5+ years’ in business development, customer service, supply chain management, and/operations
  • 3+ years of business development, customer service, supply chain management, and/or operations experience
  • 2 years’ experience in a tissue banking, medical device, or FDA regulated industry
  • Demonstrated experience working with cross functional teams and projects
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications


Preferred Experience:

  • AATB certification
  • Working towards an advanced business degree/certification
  • In-depth knowledge of products, processes and tissue flow at AlloSource.
  • 3+ years’ interfacing with tissue or medical device products
