Overview

The Recruiting Assistant enables AlloSource to hire talent in a compliant manner that maximizes our ability to fulfill our wonderful mission and do more with life!  The Assistant will oversee background checks, drug testing, and ensure a successful hiring and on-boarding process. Responsibilities include conducting all pre and post hire activities ensuring a best-in-class experience for the hiring manager and the candidate.

 

Pay:   $16.45 - $22/hr based on relevant years of experience

Bonus:  5% target Bonus Program based on individual and company metrics

Shift:  Part-time; 20-29 hours/week

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Posts open requisitions in our applicant tracking system (ATS).
  • Track’s applicant flow through our company applicant tracking system (ATS) and spreadsheets.
  • Ensures all positions are posted on the state workforce site.
  • Schedule interviews for open positions,
  • Uses templates to generate employment offers.
  • Owns tracking the employee referral program, relocation, and sign-on bonuses, ensuring timely payment for employees.
  • Ensures the completion of each background check initiation and review and evaluate the results for appropriate requirements for all positions.
  • Prepares required files for each job posted to include all necessary job requirements and interview notes.
  • Ensures all VET and Disability forms are completed in our applicant tracking system (ATS).
  • Creates an employee file for each new employee and audits all new hire paperwork for accuracy. 
  • Responsible for updating the HRIS (ADP) system with new employee information.
  • Ensures the completion of all new hire paperwork following (NEO) and maintains employee files in compliance with federal and state regulations concerning employment and affirmative action.
  • Track’s completion of confidentiality, non-compete, and non-solicitation agreements.
  • Owns I-9 accuracy and continual audit process.
  • Conducts monthly Office of Inspector General (OIG) audit on all active employees.
  • Tracks and updates driver’s license and insurance information for our sales team.
  • Manages record retention for termed files.
  • Stays current on compliance issues related to EEOC and OFCCP guidelines.
  • May perform other related duties and responsibilities as assigned.

 

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 1 year of administrative experience
  • Demonstrated experience handling sensitive employee situations and confidential information.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications

 

Preferred Experience:

  • Experience working in a recruiting department
  • Familiarity with Affirmative Action and EEOC regulations
