    The Associate Helpdesk Specialist role is to ensure proper operation of AlloSource computing

    environment so that 450 plus end users can accomplish business tasks with minimal service

    interruption. This position demonstrates through daily interaction and problem solving, an

    understanding of the AlloSource computing environment in relation to ITIL based Service Desk



    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    1. Learn and apply Continuous Process Improvement in the service desk within one month.
    2. Develop customer service, communication and people skills to partner with end users.
    3. Exhibit growing strength in the maintenance, service, repair of hardware, software and general new user setup.
    4. Assist in developing help sheets and frequently asked questions documentation\guides for end users.
    5. Learn to provide general support of AlloSource Telephony within six months.
    6. Quickly learn and exhibit awareness of cost & operational efficiency through IT Asset and Vendor Services Management.
    7. Adhere to and promote proper practices and techniques which are consistent with current operating procedures, training requirements, safety practices and company policies.



    • Associates degree, in an IT related field
    • In lieu of degree, 2 years IT support experience required
    • Must complete Information Technology
    • Infrastructure Library (ITIL) foundations within one year of hire
    • IT support experience:
      • 3 months Supporting Microsoft Windows Operating Systems, End User HW SW Break Fix and General Networking
      • 3 months working knowledge of Microsoft Office or Google Desktop productivity suite of Applications


    Preferred Experience:

    • Common Industry Certifications including but not limited to MCTS\MCITP\MCP, A+ ,ITIL Foundations, Network+
    • 2 Years Related IT Support Experience
    • 2 Years Supporting Microsoft Windows Operating Systems, End User HW SW Break Fix and General Networking
