    Compliance Statement

    Must comply and ensure adherence with FDA, CGTP, OSHA, AlloSource SOPs, work instructions & procedures, proper practices and techniques, AATB standards, and applicable company policies, training requirements, safety practices and regulatory requirements that are applicable to the job responsibilities. 



    Maintain processing environment, mechanical systems, electrical systems, plumbing, administrative area, building, and grounds in a safe and effective condition. Must respond to a variety of problems in a timely manner to prevent delays in tissue processing. Must perform needed minor building repairs and preventative maintenance functions, and contacting appropriate contractor. Assist in the documentation process, such as filing and data entry.


    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    1. Maintain, and repair all building systems in accordance with established procedures, work instructions and company policies.
    2. Complete associated documentation of all repair and maintenance, activity and ensure information is accurately and concurrently recorded. 
    3. Monitor preventative maintenance schedules & weekly reports and ensure work activities are completed within scheduled timeframe in accordance to Standard Operating Procedures.
    4. Work with outside contractors to ensure completion of projects and goal achievements.
    5. Carry “On call Phone” 24 hours a day, 7 days a week on a rotating basis (for weekday shift only).
    6. Adhere to and promote proper practices and techniques which are consistent with current operating procedures, training requirements, safety practices and company policies.   



    • 2 years experience in facility related maintenance including, minor repairs and preventive maintenance program, HVAC, electrical, and plumbing.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Applications
    • High School Diploma or equivalent
    • Driving is required in this position.  Must have a valid driver’s license, current auto insurance and a clean driving record. 


    Physical Requirements:

    • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs (10lbs continuously), bend, stand, twist, push, pull, manual dexterity, visual acuity, type, repetitive motion of wrist and shoulder.


    Will be exposed to florescent lighting, dust, fumes, chemicals, biohazardous materials, Aseptic environment, working in confined spaces, wearing personal protective equipment, and sharp tools/instruments. 


    Preferred Experience:

    • Knowledge of clean room protocol and or experience in a regulated healthcare type environment.
