Summary

The Financial Analyst provides analytical support in order to assist management in making informed and financially prudent decisions. The position will have a heavy emphasis on expense analysis that will illustrate the financial impact of management’s decisions.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Provide reporting and analysis of performance against plan/forecast, including: run rate trend analysis, reconciliation of actuals and forecasts by business owner, deep dive analysis on growth drivers and variance drivers
  2. Develop understanding of business partners’ in order to facilitate discussions and engage business partners in analyzing current spending trends
  3. Analyzes and prepares reports on monthly financial performance
  4. Supports the various financial business functions of the organization, including but not limited to strategic plans, quarterly forecasts, and annual budgets
  5. Supports monthly Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) Process
  6. Maintain company Average Selling Prices (ASPs) for reporting and analysis.
  7. Price/Volume analytics
  8. Complete ad-hoc projects and reports for team and business partners as required
  9. Adhere to and promote proper practices and techniques which are consistent with current operating procedures, training requirements, safety practices and company policies

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Finance
  • 3-5 years’ direct experience in financial planning, forecasting, and analysis.
  • Strong experience working in large cross-functional teams to build relationships and improve forecasting/analyses.
  • Ability to develop high levels of credibility and forge strong professional relationships with peers, and upper management
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Applications, such as word and power point.
  • Intermediate to Advanced Excel experience required, to include formulas, pivot tables, and financial modeling.

 

Preferred Experience:

  • Experience in the tissue bank industry
  • Experience in Manufacturing industry
  • Database proficiency
